Unwavering in her desire to make things better for the people she cares for, it’s only logical that founder and owner of Stett Transportation wants customers, carriers, employees and community members to live their best lives. A hard-working entrepreneur, Lynn opened Stett from the basement of her home, juggling customers’ phone calls with kids’ soccer matches. The combination of ingenuity (she made cold calls to potential customers from yellow pages procured in other cities by her husband who was a pilot), can-do/no-bull attitude (she’ll track down fittings in real time if that’s what it takes), and consistent follow-through (she takes the frustration out of logistics), made the business thrive. But her success doesn’t stop until others succeed too. For example, she wants the people she works alongside and their loved ones to grow both professionally and personally. And her generosity extends to the community as well. Opportunities for helping underserved children are at the heart of her giving. She has established her own non-profit Stett4Kids, and she served on the board of the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky. Lynn is also an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), where she learned how to scale her own business and now coaches other entrepreneurs on effective business ownership.

Navigator. Problem-solver. Even superstar. He won’t say it, but others will. That’s because Drew Anstett has made it his job to be an expert at resolving issues, reducing risk and leading his team with confidence. Formally, Drew has been a member of Stett Transportation since 2011, when he joined the team as an office assistant. Since that time, and after graduating with a business degree from the University of Kentucky, he has steadily proven his worth through elevating roles, including logistics manager, director of operations and now president. But he has been a part of Stett since its infancy when as a child he helped Stett’s founder and owner Lynn Anstett, who is also his mom, with one of many key aspects of a growing business – licking stamps and sealing envelopes in Stett’s original headquarters, the basement of his family home. Instilled with a strong work ethic, today you’ll find Drew resolving challenges, anticipating opportunities and managing growth so Stett can keep doing what they love: answering the call.

Rod has been making the rubber hit the road in the transportation industry for more than 30 years. He knows trucking and transport inside and out, making him the go-to for all thing’s logistics.

In lieu of a desk after earning his business degree, Rod took a stint as a truck driver hauling chemicals. He developed his career in the industry by mastering areas of driving, delivering, training, recruiting, sales, permits, dispatch and coordinator of 150 + truck operation. In 2000 he became the first logistics coordinator at Stett Transportation where today he is focused on helping customers, carriers and employees succeed, delivering whatever is needed.
Rod’s priority is helping his customers while providing carriers with fair, secure loads to keep the trucking industry healthy. He enjoys being a coordinator between customers and carriers to help both grow and succeed in their businesses by solving their transportation needs. When both succeed, Stett succeeds.

What Rod most appreciates about Stett is how the company has provided him the room to grow and develop as a transportation broker, while also providing a team environment for support. Rod values Stett as an honest, family-friendly company that self-evaluates and makes sure they provide the best product to the businesses they serve.

When Rod is not answering the call to meet his customers trucking needs, he enjoys time spent with his wife Jennifer and family, boating, riding horses, and keeping up with his seven grandkids.
